Product Description

1) For the manual determination of erythrocyte sedimentation rates with ESR stand.

2) Sodium citrate is used as anticoagulant to prevent blood from clotting.

3) Filled with a buffered sodium citrate solution in a concentration of 0.129mol/L (3.8%).

4) The blood to additive ratio is 4:1.

5) After ESR tube has been filled with blood, immediately invert the tube 8-10 times to mix and ensure adequate anticoagulation of the specimen.

Use:

1) Before testing, use a blood sedimentation test (with a built-in 3.8% soalum citrate active) to collect acertain amount of blood samples, mix it with the additives in time, and place it on the horizontally placed Weiss erythrocyte sedimentation rack.

2) Insert the piston end of the ESR Tube slowly and vertically downward into the ESR tube. The seal between the piston and the ESR tube causes the blood sample to slowly rise along the ESR tube and accurately reach the 'O' scale to stop the operation. Note: In order to ensure the accuracy of the reading, it must be ensured that the ESR tube touches the bottom of the ESR tube, and the ESR tube remains vertically up right on the Weiss erythrocyte rack.

3) Observe the plasma height in the ESR tube after standing for 1 hour and report the erythrocyte sedimentation value in millimeters of erythrocyte sinking.

4) Safety protection work should be done during the operation. After completing the test, blood samples and consumables should be properly handled to prevent pollution to people and the environment.
